Our highly selective Master’s study track HMDA (M.Sc. in Health & Medical Data Analytics and Entrepreneurship) intents to achieve a greater integration of innovation and entrepreneurship skills within the study program. It is planned to start in the fall/winter semester 2019/20. The new study track is funded by the European medtech consortium EIT Health and brings together four top-notch universities from different European countries.
In contrast to traditional university education in engineering, the M.Sc. in HMDA aims to provide students with innovation and business skills in addition to their studies in medical data Analytics. By connectiong them with the community of EIT Health, students gain access to the biggest medtech network in Europe. Our students are trained an international mindset through a mandatory semester abroad, which is to be spent at one of the program’s partner universities. Practical experience and team skills will be acquired by innovative teaching and an early connection with medtech companies and hospitals in the course of their studies.
M.Sc. in Health and Medical Data Analytics was awarded the EIT label in 2019. The EIT label is a certificate of quality for programmes that combine excellent scientific education with innovation and entrepreneurship training. Graduates of EIT-Labelled degrees form the next generation of health innovators.
